Presumably not Robin Lakoff but George Lakoff, especially for _Women, fire and dangerous things_, which goes down well with some Lojbanists, tho I can't remember quite who or why. --And Rosta

  • I wouldn't dismiss Robin, whose studies of genderized langauge is earlier (and often better, at least as data). I can't remember whether "Pricks and Chicks" is hers or just in a volume she edited. pc>|8}
