13 January 2015 John Cowan the author of the reference grammar of Lojban language was awarded by the Logical Language Group the honorary title of "Archgrammarian" or balgenpre (in Lojban) in recognition of the magnitude of his contributions to the language, and his many years as a member, director and officer of LLG.
