= ''capital''. Proposed place structure:

* tcadu1=turni1 tcadu2 tcadu3=turni2 tcadu4

The equivalence between ''tcadu1'' and ''turni1'' is of course very loose.

It might be decided in the interest of sanity that ''tcadu2'' (metropolitan area) and ''tcadu4'' (hinterland) should be dropped, because they contribute nothing to the notion of capitalhood. I think this would be wrong: this kind of dropping would not be predictable, and consistency is very important in novel place structures. Besides, a ''trutca'' is still a ''tcadu''.

<br />A ''trutca'' is not, however, a ''turni''. So [[jbocre: Adam Cooper|Adam Cooper]] propose:

* x1=tcadu1 x2=turni2 x3=tcadu2 x4=tcadu3 x5=tcadu4

Lojban should already contain semantic primes in its gismu space. Example, ckaji (kai); we have the abstractor ka.
