A string begins with a fu'ivla if it does not begin with a cmavo or a rafsi-string or a slinku'i, it does begin with a non-jbocre: Morphology: consonants jbocre: Morphology: syllables nset, and consists of any number of jbocre: Morphology: syllables nstressed-syllables (possibly none), one jbocre: Morphology: syllables tressed-syllable and then a jbocre: Morphology: syllables inal-syllable.

A rafsi-string consists of any number of jbocre: Morphology: rafsi -less-rafsi (possibly none) followed by a gismu, a jbocre: Morphology: rafsi VV-final-rafsi, or a jbocre: Morphology: rafsi tressed-y-less-rafsi and a jbocre: Morphology: rafsi hort-final-rafsi

A slinku'i consists of a jbocre: Morphology: consonants onsonant followed by a rafsi-string.
