Come to think of it, base-3 is actually the most efficient (integer) base when it comes to things like house-numbers or cards to show page numbers.  I mean, if you have to be able to display every number from 0 to ''n'' in base ''b'' (and thus you need log-to-base-''b'' of ''n'' copies of every digit), it's need the fewest such copies if your base is 3 (''e'' would be ideal, but we're staying with integers).  Maybe that should be the default pe'inai zo'o? Come to think of it, base-3 is actually the most efficient (integer) base when it comes to things like house-numbers or cards to show page numbers. I mean, if you have to be able to display every number from 0 to n in base b (and thus you need log-to-base-b of n copies of every digit), it's need the fewest such copies if your base is 3 (e would be ideal, but we're staying with integers). Maybe that should be the default pe'inai zo'o? --mi'e .mark.
