A lot of the vowels here are wrong. For example, {a} is "a" as in "father", not as in "hat" (any dialect). And "play" is not an acceptable allophone of {e}, because it would be confused with {ei}.
Some of the vowels here were wrong. I switched the "preferred" and "allowed" versions of {a} and added a cautionary note to the "allowed" entry for {e}.

Some of the vowels here were wrong. I switched the "preferred" and "allowed" versions of {a} and added a cautionary note to the "allowed" entry for {e}.

Update 12-21-14

This is a first draft.
I have created a table structure that is easy to read and edit.
I have added an IPA column.
I have created a tag system that will help avoid long comments in the table.

I decided to split the vowel table into 'preferred' and 'allowed' tables.
I added a name column and embedded links in each name.
I will reorganize the other tables tomorrow.

It'd be nice to upload and embed into the page audio recording of those sounds (can be taken from wikipedia) so that users wouldn't need to perform redirects to other websites.La Gleki (talk) 09:43, 24 decmbero 2014 (UTC)

I agree with you. I was also thinking about adding an extra column for lojban example words (with audio). --Ravas (talk) 20:03, 24 decmbero 2014 (UTC)
