ロジバン全般
ロジバンて何？
人が話すことに使えるように、計画的に構成された言語です。 音素を文法に従って並べた時系列が、意味のある文となります。 文字に決まりはありませんが、ASCII印字可能文字のいくつかとスペースだけで表示するのが一般的です。
ロジバンの文法は、構文に曖昧性が生じないように作られています。 1997年時点で公式の文法は yacc 文法で書かれています。現在では peg で書かれた文法もあります。 構文解析器も作られ、ロジバンの学習に使われています。

誰が作っているの？
ロジカル・ラングイッジ・グループ (Logical Language Group: LLG) という団体が1987年に結成され、この団体がロジバンを設計してきました。 LLG は 1988年に非営利の教育・学術団体としてアメリカ合衆国内国歳入庁に認定されています。 ロジバンは 1997年までには現在とほぼ同じ形になり、この年、ロジバン大全 (The Complete Lojban Language: CLL) が出版されました。 そのあと５年間は、言語としての成長を期待して、仕様変更が凍結されました。 2002年以降は仕様変更が解禁となり、 LLG の新規定に基づいて、言語計画決定委員会 (baupla fuzykamni: BPFK) がロジバンの設計を調整していくことになりました。
ロジバンを話す人は何人いるの？
2014年7月までの本の注文数やメーリングリストの登録数から察するに、興味を持っている／いた人は2000人程度いるようです。 また IRCの文字チャット の参加人数から察するに、ロジバンを使っている人は、どの時期にも50から100人程度はいるようです。
